SEO SUPPORT ACROSS THE UK, US AND BEYOND

SEO services shaped around the market you actually serve

A good SEO strategy should reflect where your customers live, how they search and what they call the service they need.

I help creatives and service businesses improve their visibility across Google and AI search, with practical SEO strategies shaped around their industry, location and commercial goals.

Remote, one-to-one support

Work directly with me wherever your business is based.

Market-specific research

Google and AI search

Clearer location, service and business signals across modern search.

WHERE I WORK

SEO support for the market your customers call home

The location directory will grow as useful city, state and regional pages are published. Until then, these sections explain the markets I support without linking you to empty or unfinished pages.

UNITED KINGDOM

City, county, regional and national SEO

I help UK businesses target the places where their customers actually search, from a focused local service area to several towns, counties or wider regions.

  • City and county keyword research
  • Regional service-page planning
  • Local competitor and search-result analysis

UNITED STATES

City, metro, state and multi-location SEO

US search markets can vary enormously between cities and states. I research the local language, competition and customer intent instead of recycling a generic national strategy.

  • City and metropolitan-area targeting
  • State and regional content hubs
  • Multi-location website architecture

AUSTRALIA & BEYOND

SEO for other English-speaking markets

I can support businesses targeting Australia and other English-speaking markets by checking the terminology, search behaviour and competitors specific to that country or region.

  • Market and terminology research
  • International content planning
  • Country and regional relevance signals

WHY LOCATION MATTERS

Location changes more than the city name in your title tag

A wedding photographer in North Carolina, a builder in Yorkshire and an auto body shop in Florida may all need SEO, but they are not competing in the same market. Their keywords, search results, proof and customer expectations can all be different.

People use different language

A UK customer may search for a car body shop, while a US customer is more likely to look for an auto body shop. Small wording differences can change the entire keyword plan.

Your real competitors change

The businesses dominating national results may be completely different from those visible in a city, county, state or regional search.

Search intent has a radius

Someone needing an emergency plumber usually wants a nearby provider. Someone choosing a destination wedding photographer may happily hire from much farther away.

Trust signals vary by market

Reviews, directories, associations, case studies and local portfolio examples do not carry equal weight everywhere. The right proof should match the market.

WHAT I CAN IMPROVE

A location strategy connected to the rest of your website

Location research is only useful when it supports your services, site structure and enquiry journey. Otherwise, you are left with a pile of city pages gathering digital dust.

Keyword research

Find the terms customers use, where demand exists and which searches have genuine commercial value.

Website architecture

Plan how industry, service, state, regional and city pages should connect without competing with one another.

Location content

Build genuinely useful pages around the local market rather than copying the same text and swapping place names.

Technical SEO

Improve crawling, indexing, metadata, internal links and the technical foundations supporting the silo.

Local authority

Identify relevant reviews, directories, partnerships, mentions and links that strengthen trust in the market.

Google and AI visibility

Make your services, locations, expertise and business relationships easier for search systems to understand.

A STRAIGHTFORWARD APPROACH

No pretend offices. No city pages created just to fill a sitemap.

I work remotely with businesses in different markets. My location pages explain how SEO can be adapted to those markets; they do not claim that I have a physical branch in every city.

The aim is to publish the smallest number of pages needed to cover the opportunity properly, then make every page genuinely useful. Fewer strong pages usually beat a giant folder of copy-and-paste locations.

THE PROCESS

How I plan a location-based SEO strategy

01

Define the real service area

We identify where profitable customers actually come from and which places matter commercially.

02

Research local demand

I review terminology, search intent, competitors and the layout of the results in each priority market.

03

Build the right structure

We decide whether the opportunity needs city pages, state or regional hubs, or a simpler service-area approach.

04

Improve using real data

Search Console data helps show which places, services and queries deserve the next round of work.

WHO I HELP

SEO for creatives and service businesses

Your industry determines what customers search for. Your location determines who you compete against. The strategy needs to understand both.

Photographers

Services, venues, specialist niches and the places couples or clients are searching.

Videographers

Stronger visibility for video-led websites, services, industries and regional markets.

Plumbers

Local visibility for urgent work, planned services and genuine service areas.

Electricians

Clear coverage for domestic, landlord and commercial electrical services.

Builders

Target the projects, locations and customer questions that fit the business.

Roofers

Reach customers searching for repairs, replacements and specialist roofing work.

LOCATION SEO FAQ

A few useful questions before building location pages

What is a location SEO page?

A location SEO page explains how a business serves customers in a particular city, state, county, region or country. A useful page reflects the services, search behaviour, competition and context of that market rather than simply changing the place name.

Do I need a page for every city I serve?

Usually not. Create pages where there is meaningful demand, genuine commercial relevance and enough local information to make the page useful. Targeting fifty places rarely helps when only five generate the right kind of work.

Can I target several nearby cities?

Yes. The best structure depends on the size of the service area and how customers search. Individual city pages may be useful, but sometimes a county, region or metropolitan-area page creates a clearer and more natural journey.

Is location SEO the same as local SEO?

Location pages can support local SEO, but local visibility can also involve a Google Business Profile, reviews, citations, proximity and local authority. A travelling or remote service provider may use location pages without operating like a traditional shopfront business.

Do you need to be based in my city?

No. SEO consulting, research, audits, content planning and website optimisation can be delivered remotely. What matters is understanding your market properly rather than pretending to have a physical presence where one does not exist.

LET’S BUILD THE RIGHT MAP

Build visibility where your best customers are searching

You do not need to target every city, county and state you can think of. You need a focused strategy covering the markets that genuinely matter to your business, supported by useful pages and a website search engines can understand.
